Zac Hart is a makeup artist and hair stylist from New York City, with 14 years of experience in the beauty industry. Now 29, he began his journey by simultaneously graduating from high school and earning his cosmetology license at Albany Career & Technical School before receiving further training in Master Makeup Artistry at The Make-Up Designory in New York City, where he studied both beauty and special fx.
Over the years, Zac has had the opportunity to assist top makeup artists on ad campaigns for brands such as Chanel, Calvin Klein, Coach, NIKE, and Apple, as well as beauty campaigns for Clinique, E.L.F., and Glow Recipe, and editorials for magazines such as Middle Plane, CRASH, Allure, Myth, and Document Journal. His work has taken him backstage at New York Fashion Week, where he worked on shows for brands like Christopher John Rogers, Weiderhoft, SP5DER, and BAPE. He has also worked to the beauty team for Marc Jacobs' 2023 and 2024 Met Gala appearances and Latin superstar Danna Paola’s 2024 appearance at Heidi Klum Halloween
Zac’s personal makeup work can be seen on clients such as Natasha Bedingfield, Brenda Song, and Tei Shi. It has been featured in publications like The Wall Street Journal and Fault Magazine, on film for HBO’s “The Last Call”, and in fashion campaigns for Zara, Theory, and Helmut Lang. With a particular focus on complexion and skin, Zac’s approach to beauty has remained rooted in a desire to enhance natural features while delivering innovative beauty looks that are both fresh and timeless.
